Rodi Garganico
Rodi Garganico is only four kilometres from Hotel Helios and is the heart of the Gargano Mountain Community and one of the pearls of the Gargano National Park. The town is part of the Gargano Mountain Community and is famous for the beauty of its sea, repeatedly awarded the prestigious Blue Flag. The town of Rodi Garganico is located on a rocky promontory characterised by white houses and narrow streets, embraced by long sandy shores. The town is a few kilometres from Lake Varano, a body of water surrounded by citrus, olive, pine, carob and fig trees.
Vieste
Vieste is the most easterly jewel of the Gargano promontory and retains the old charm of its medieval town centre. On the edges of the narrow streets of the centre, you can see the 'mignali', the characteristic external stairs of Vieste houses. The ancient centre of Vieste blends perfectly with the 19th-century and modern style of the flat district. So much beauty is then framed by two beaches of fine sand and enchanting sea.

Gargano National Park
The Gargano National Park is a national nature reserve not to be missed during a holiday in Apulia. The uniqueness of this area makes it very interesting: in the beginning, the promontory was an island and the massif still has completely different environmental characteristics to the surrounding areas. The Foresta Umbra is evidence of a past that drags on into the present: originally, the promontory was completely covered by forests, while today only 15% of the surface is covered by this type of vegetation.
