rodi GARGANico

Vacation at the hotel Helios means that you stay at only 4 km from Rodi Garganico. Rodi Garganico is a small town with 3.778 inhabitants, it belongs to the area of the National Park of Gargano. It is a well known sea resort and has been awarded more than once the Blue Flag, thanks to the quality of its water. The town lays upon a rocky promontory surrounded by long sandy beaches. Not far away the lake of Varano crowned by a beautiful countryside with plenty of citrus and olive trees, pines, carub and fig trees. The medieval centre of the town is characteristic with its white-washed houses and narrow streets.

VIESTE

For those staying at the hotel Helios it's a must to visit Vieste, the most eastern town along the Gargano promontory, delimited by long sandy beaches. In the even part there are the most recent buildings of the 19. century and more modern times. Up the cliff there is the medieval town center, where we find along its narrow winding streets those houses with the typical external staircases (mignali), sometimes hold together by peculiar arcades.
